After a family walf the mother planned to run to a track junction on the Nth/Sth track and back to the family at the Whakamarama carpark.
When she failed to return the family called Police for help.
All members were called out immediately.
Tracking was hampered by two hunters wanting to go in to the bush and help look for the missing woman.
